Read for 20 minutes - Record in the agendaBased on the reading criteria, students should be reading a minimum of 110 words per minute and reading on Foungtas and Pinnell reading Level P. As summer approaches, please continue reading and practicing multiplication facts for third grade. You can purchase flashcards from any store that carries school/teacher supplies. encourage the students to read nightly (fiction as well as non-fiction stories) and record titles in the agenda. Second Grade's award ceremony will be May 21st at 9:00 A.M. All students who are receiving awards will be given an invitation. Some of the awards given are: highest g.p.a. in academic subjects, behavior awards, Accelerated Reader awards, honor roll, and attendance. As always, please review homework with your child. Have a great week and remember to have your child reflect on our three rules of respect, safety, and responsibility.
